War Street Journal

"War Street Journal" was born one year after the outbreak of the conflict in Ukraine. It is a media project dedicated to Ukrainians fleeing war, collecting testimonies and telling their stories.

Marius Cosmeanu, journalist and editor of the project, contacted us asking for the creation of an opening video, which would tell the tranquility of everyday life suddenly interrupted.

The scenography
The building represented is inspired by those in Rynok Square (Площа Ринок), or Market Square, in Lvyv, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998.
It’s a fictional building, a puzzle between Renaissance and Rococo style elements, extracted from different buildings of the building curtains in the historic center of the city.

The music
The piece composed for this video is a reworking, in our style, of the song “Prayer for Ukraine” (“Молитва за Україну”) by the Ukrainian composer Mykola Lysenko.

We are proud to have given our contribution to this important project, which helps spread the voice of those who are experiencing this war firsthand.

"War Street Journal" talks about war, talks about experiences, talks about people who deserve to live in peace.
